Projects Active Efforts & Programs
These are the programs FAPCo is actively running in Park County right now — from beetle mitigation to fire suppression water resources. Looking for how-to guides and wildfire prep resources instead? Visit our Education section.
Why we do this
Prevention takes action, not just awareness.
Educating the community about wildfire risk only goes so far. FAPCo runs hands-on projects — removing beetle-killed fuel loads, preserving fire suppression water resources, and partnering with local fire districts — to directly reduce the risk of a catastrophic wildfire in Park County.
